Custom Order Pricing
How it Works
- Calculate the square inches of what you’d like to cut or etch. Ex. You want to etch your logo, which is 4in wide and 1in tall. 4in x 1in = 4in².
- Use the appropriate chart to find the fee per item. Ex. An etching fee for 4in² is $0.86/in². Multiply that fee by the number of square inches to get the etching fee per item. 4 x $0.86 = $3.44
All rates below are for 1-5 item orders. Please contact us for large quantities.

Note: These prices are for cutting every 1/4″ thick of material. Multiple passes are needed for thicker materials, so costs double for 1/2″ thick material, triple for 3/4″ thick material, and so on. We can also cut smaller than 3 in2, though anything under smaller than 3 in2 will be charged the same rate as 3 in2.

Note: We can cut and etch up to 22″x34″, or 748 in2. We can also etch smaller than 3 in2, though anything under smaller than 3 in2 will be charged the same rate as 3 in2.

- Vinyl
- HDPE over 1/16″
- Fiberglass
- Carbon Fiber
- Poly ethylene
- Poly polypropylene (thin may be ok)
- Exotic hardwoods
- Metal
- Polycarbonate or Lexan
- Glass (Can be engraved, not cut)
- Printed circuit boards
Extra Fees
Setup Fee – $20
This setup fee is required for all orders under $50.
Wall Hanging Kit – $1.50/hole
Wall signage will require keyhole slots drilled into the back. Each piece will most likely requires two holes, and possibly more depending on size. The wall hanging kit includes a custom cut cardboard template, as shown in these installation instructions (PDF).
Special handling fee – $15 and up
This is rare, and only for items that are difficult to ship. The fee is to cover the time it takes for us to design custom packaging so that your package arrives safely. The fee increases for especially large or fragile items.
Rush Fee – $30+
This rush fee applies to complicated jobs with 1-2 day turnarounds.
Tips for File Preparation
- We accept vector files only, in any of these formats: EPS, AI, PDF, or DXF
- Artwork needs to be scaled to actual size
- All fonts need to be outlined
- A logo retracing fee may apply for non vector images, such as JPGs
- Artwork needs to be 100% black on white.

Delivery and Turnaround
Turnaround Times
Our turnaround times generally range from 1-3 weeks. We believe in doing quality work over rushing through the project, and we may turn down work set on extremely short timelines. There is a rush fee for 1-2 day turnarounds.
